The Villa Saveria Riace Marina offers four spacious and elegantly fashioned
guest rooms that make up the property and one large, private Self-Catering
Apartment ideally suited to families or groups of up to four (six
at a squeeze – and prices refer to the accommodations not
to the number of guests so you can spread the costs).
As standard in the four suites as well as the apartment, come private
bathrooms, a spacious living room area with local TV, outside telephone
line and the possibility to connect to the internet via a high-speed
connection with your laptop computer and modem. To ensure optimum
comfort, the entire property is double glazed and centrally-heated
to protect you from the elements and air-conditioned for when you
seek refuge from the hot Calabrian sun – all autonomously
controlled by guests with an easy-to-use control panel.
The villa sits in its own lavish garden – a private and luscious
space for the exclusive use of our guests, the ideal place to relax
by day under the sun and sea air or by night with a few bottles
of raucous Southern Italian red wine.
Directly facing the soft white sands of the 300m-long beach of
Riace Marina, Province of Reggio Calabria, the fresh, clear waters in which
the Ancient Greek Statues of Riace were discovered in 1972 offer
the perfect place for an early morning dip before a walk around
the picturesque village or a trip up to Reggio to see the statues
first hand at the National Magna Graecia.
Reggio Calabria is about an hour to an hour and a half by bus from
Riace Marina, or an hour by car. For more concise details of Riace Marina, Reggio
Calabria and southern Italy, visit our Location
